Eligible uses of these funds include:
Premium pay for essential workers, Investments in water, sewer, and broadband infrastructure.
This new law provides the largest amount of direct federal aid ever to local governments. A total of $130.2 billion will be provided to cities and counties to use through December 31, 2024. The program will be administered by the U.S. Treasury Department.

There is no deadline to spend the ARPA funds.
The Tax Mandate provision of ARPA provides that, “a State or territory shall not use the funds provided…to either directly or indirectly offset a reduction in the net tax revenue of such state or territory resulting from a change in law, regulation, or administrative interpretation during the covered period that ...

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (American Rescue Plan), enacted in early March 2021, provided Economic Impact Payments of up to $1,400 for eligible individuals or $2,800 for married couples filing jointly, plus $1,400 for each qualifying dependent, including adult dependents.
They claim Americans under age 65 can qualify to receive $1,400 from the government to use for rent, groceries, or anything else. This is a scam. There is no $1,400 American Health Stimulus check being provided by the government.
The third round of stimulus payments, those authorized by the 2021 American Rescue Plan Act, differs from the earlier payments in several respects: The third stimulus payment will be larger for most people.
Help Americans stay in their homes by providing emergency aid to cover back rent. In addition, the bill provides assistance to help struggling homeowners catch up with their mortgage payments and utility costs through the Homeowners Assistance Fund.
Powered the Fastest Recovery in the World: After the American Rescue Plan passed, the US recovered significantly faster than our G7 Peers – with 5.9% growth in 2021 – while our inflation is in the middle of the pack and slower than other countries that did significantly less to help their economies recover.
The American Rescue Plan accelerated the economic recovery throughout 2021 and made it more resilient to challenges: one analysis found that the law resulted in 4 million more jobs and nearly doubled GDP growth – and that without it, the United States would have come close to a double-digit recession in spring 2021.
operational needs etc. workers, recipients can use funds to cover the full payroll and covered benefits costs for employees or operating units or divisions primarily dedicated to the COVID-19 response.
Outside of the revenue loss category, Recovery Funds generally cannot be used to meet the non-federal match or cost-share requirements of other federal programs, other than as specifically provided for in the statute. For example, funds cannot be used to match funds for FEMA programs, unless specifically made so.
The CARES Act was the first of three major pieces of COVID-19 relief legislation. The Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) followed the CARES Act and the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) came last.
To be eligible for a full payment, your adjusted gross income could not be above certain thresholds: $75,000 for individuals, $112,500 for heads of household or $150,000 for married couples.

For every child 6-17 years old, families will get a monthly payment of $250, and for children under 6 years old, families will get $300 each month. The 80% of families who get their refunds from the IRS through direct deposit will get these payments on the 15th of every month until the end of 2021.
ARP drove historic 3-year job growth with 15 million jobs added since President Biden took office. Not only recovered all the lost jobs but added an additional 5.5 million more jobs versus pre-Covid.
In 2007, Congress passed, and President George W. Bush signed into law, the America COMPETES Act, establishing ARPA-E. In 2009, Congress appropriated the new agency's first $400 million in funding.
Public Law No: 117-2 (03/11/2021) This bill provides additional relief to address the continued impact of COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) on the economy, public health, state and local governments, individuals, and businesses.
