Do all airport scanners ruin film?
In the past, older models of X-ray scanners were even more damaging to film, particularly high ISO films. However, most current machines used for carry-on luggage scanning use a very mild dose of X-rays that is unlikely to cause any damage to your film if it's under 800 ISO.

The X-ray used to inspect carry-on baggage is much milder than the X-ray for checked baggage. Low energy X-ray will not cause noticeable damage to films under ISO800 such as Fujifilm Instax mini, Instax wide, Polaroid Originals 600 (ISO640) and SX-70 (ISO160) films.
Unless you are using high-speed film (over 800), it will be fine in the X-ray machine. The camera will be fine also. NEVER put anything valuable like a camera in your suitcase. However, if you are worried, the security guards will hand-inspect your camera and film if you ask them to.
In these cases, photographers should request hand inspection or pack the film in a lead-lined bag. We conducted a test at the airport by scanning a roll of Portra 400 three times through a traditional X-ray (not the CT scanner). The results were surprising, with minimal visible damage to the film.
While many airports' X-ray machines aren't strong enough to cause damage to film with one pass, the damaging effect is cumulative, meaning that if you're going to go through multiple airports, you could end up with foggy film by the end of your trip.

Firstly, not all airports have CT scanners. And traditional x-ray scanners only affect films with an ISO of 800 or upwards. Secondly, you can ask airport security to check your rolls of film by hand. Keep your rolls of film in your hand luggage and carry them through security yourself.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) advises the following regarding film in disposable cameras. Never place undeveloped film (disposable cameras) in checked baggage. Security equipment used for screening checked baggage will damage undeveloped film.
The high-dose X-ray scan on checked baggage can damage film immediately and corrections can't be made at the processing lab. See below for examples of how X-rays affect film in checked baggage. We always recommend getting your film hand-checked if possible, especially if you're travel will include multiple x-ray scans.
Basically, anything under ISO 800 is fine to pass through the X-ray machine. Everything ISO 800 or above should be hand checked. This includes Instax film.
How do I bring film through TSA?
We recommend carrying your film in a clear plastic zip-lock-style bag, with which TSA is familiar. Leave your rolls in their plastic canisters and/or sealed packaging whenever possible. We try to keep our cameras unloaded so they can pass through the X-ray machine, but loaded cameras can also be hand-scanned.
The TSA states that film less than 800 ISO can go through the x-ray machine for carry-ons without a problem.
A GoPro, like most other action cameras, contains roughly the same amount of metal as a smartphone. They contain mostly lithium, copper and silver, all of which are good conductors of electricity. Since a metal detector can find a phone, a metal detector can also find a lost GoPro.
Don't put film in checked luggage. Don't load film into your cameras before traveling. Keep film in a single ziplock bag, removed from any cardboard boxes, but still in the plastic canisters (35mm) or foil wrapper (120). You can ask for a hand-inspection at the security checkpoint.

If you aren't able to get it to a lab within a month, then fridging/freezing it (and taking appropriate steps when defrosting it) will preserve the film quality. Exposed film loses quality faster than unexposed film due to a chemical reaction that happens only after exposure to light.
Fujifilm describes their Instax film as “…an ISO 800 credit-card-size integral daylight color film designed for use with Fujifilm Instax mini cameras. This glossy film yields superb results under both daylight and electronic flash conditions.
It'll fit. Polaroid color film is rated ISO 640, so it is not fast enough to be considered at risk for fogging with X-ray scanners. Don't put film through a CT scanner, request manual inspection.

Negative that hasn't been developed, but has been exposed or not, will be altered or ruined if exposed to direct light for more than a small fraction of a second.
What is undeveloped film called?
Found film is the most common name for the still film or movie footage found exposed but undeveloped; it is also often referred as undeveloped film, or forgotten film.

X-Ray Scanners And Film
Traditional X-ray scanners used to check hand luggage are safe for all but the highest speed films – 800 ISO and above. So if you have anything below 800 ISO, you should be fine to have it scanned. This also applies to Polaroid film.

Police officers may not generally confiscate or demand to view your photographs or video without a warrant. If you are arrested, the contents of your phone may be scrutinized by the police, although their constitutional power to do so remains unsettled.
